Bell Social combines art, science and music to showcase The Huge Worlds of Tiny Spaces

MINNEAPOLIS/ST.PAUL — Join the Bell Museum of Natural History for a special after hours celebration of art and science that highlights the museum’s dedication to community outreach. A variety of refreshments and activities are planned, including an exhibition from Sreekishen Nair, Fall 2015 Bell Museum artist in residence. Working with public and scientific staff at the Bell to create new works, Nair celebrates the fusion of the beauty of natural science with the methodology of artistic craft in Expanding in Sites: The Huge Worlds of Tiny Spaces.

The event will also feature a mini Café Scientifique with U of M astrophysicist Dr. Lawrence Rudnick: "The Biggest Things in the Universe,” live music from local band Communist Daughter, open house ExploraDome planetarium shows, a food truck and cash bar, trivia and prizes.
