In a renewed effort to serve all University of Minnesota alumni, the U of M Alumni Association has refreshed its programs, services and benefits. The initiative is titled ‘Stay Connected.’

U of M President Eric Kaler and senior leaders to welcome students on first day of classes

On Tuesday, September 8 from 10–11 a.m., University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler, along with Provost Karen Hanson, Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Danita Brown Young and Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education Robert McMaster will be greeting students on the first day of school.

Big Sean to headline Homecoming 2015 Concert ​

Student Unions & Activities and the Program Board Coordinators are proud to present the Homecoming 2015 concert on Friday, September 25 at TCF Bank Stadium, featuring performances from Marc E. Bassy at 7:45 p.m., Smallpools at 8:20 p.m., and Big Sean at 9:25 p.m. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

U of M Class of 2019 celebrate Pride & Spirit night

To kick off pride for all things maroon and gold, more than 5,700 incoming students, the University of Minnesota Class of 2019, will celebrate Pride & Spirit night on September 2, forming a giant block ‘M’ at TCF Bank Stadium. The event is part of Welcome Week, which introduces first-year students to life at the U of M.

The University of Minnesota–Twin Cities will welcome the Class of 2019 to campus next week. At more than 5,700 students, it is one of the U of M's largest freshman classes on record. Following two days of residence hall move-in on August 31 and September 1, the U will kick off its Welcome Week activities.
