Background: The annual climate adaptation conference, organized by the Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership Committee, is dedicated to sharing knowledge and experience related to climate adaptation practices that improve the environment and the quality of life in Minnesota. Past conferences have involved academic and government researchers, but this year conference attendees will hear from business and political leaders. The morning panel will be moderated by meteorologist and entrepreneur Paul Douglas; an afternoon panel will include mayors of St. Paul, Bemidji, Falcon Heights and St. Louis Park.
