Students in the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering (CSE) present a dazzling light show during the first two weekends in December. The high-tech entertainment features more than 250,000 LED lights set to music, some of which is written and recorded by University of Minnesota students. This year’s show offers new light installations and new music.

Features include a 22-foot lighted tree, an eight-foot 3D snowman sign, eight-foot lighted arches, a five-by-12-foot lighted pixelated changeable sign, and a six-foot circular light structure. In addition, a special Winter Light Show Open House for CSE alumni and friends is planned from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, in the Civil Engineering Building.
