For the first time, four decades of University of Minnesota leadership will be on campus together. President Eric Kaler, along with five former U of M presidents – Peter Magrath, Kenneth Keller, Nils Hasselmo, Mark Yudof, and Robert Bruininks – will discuss higher education and the future of the state of Minnesota.
The conversation, moderated by the Star Tribune’s Lori Sturdevant, is expected to address a wide range of issues, including the challenges of a diverse and changing world, financing public higher education and safeguarding academic freedom. The event is free and open to the public.
