Regents seal

The University of Minnesota Board of Regents will review President Eric Kaler’s recommended FY 2018 Annual Operating Budget at its June 8 meeting, taking action on the budget during a special meeting on June 20.

On June 2, regents will launch a new online feedback form to gather input on the president’s recommended budget.

This new comment process offers all members of the University community and the public an opportunity to share their opinions and perspectives on the proposed budget over a longer period, at their convenience.

The period for public comment is from noon, June 2, until noon, June 13.

The budget will be available in the June docket materials on the Board of Regents website. Budget input received during the comment period will be included in the Board’s June 20 meeting docket, which will be available on the Board website on June 16.

Both the June 9 and June 20 meetings will be public, live-streamed, and video recorded. Additionally, the June 8 budget discussion, beginning at 8:45 a.m., will be live-streamed.
