Statement on Jennifer Houle

The following statement is from Danita Brown Young, Ph.D., vice provost for student affairs and dean of students:

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the news about Jennifer Houle, a Carlson School of Management student and Pi Beta Phi sorority member, who has been missing since Friday, March 27. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, classmates, and sorority sisters.

“We are continuing to offer counseling and support to any students, faculty and staff who may need it. Counselors at Boynton Health Service and University Counseling & Consulting Services are available for in person individual appointments. Walk-ins are welcome between 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. A U of M, 24/7 crisis line can be reached at 612-301-4673.

“Counseling services specifically for Carlson students and Pi Beta Phi sorority members are also being offered.”
