Gophers Win First Big Ten Title in 20 Years

The men's tennis team captured a share of its first Big Ten regular-season title in two decades, defeating Northwestern April 19 at the Baseline Tennis Center. The No. 23 Gophers will next play Princeton in the first round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament on May 8.

The Madness of March

As tournament time hit its peak, Gopher teams were competing all over the country. And right at home, the women's hockey team celebrated another national championship at Ridder Arena, defeating Harvard 4-1. It was Minnesota's sixth national title and third in the last four years.

Two Carlson School Students Win Prestigious Athletics Awards

Gopher senior softball player Kaitlyn Richardson and men's hockey senior and captain Kyle Rau were recently awarded the Patty Berg Legacy and Henry L. Williams Awards. These awards recognize one female and one male student-athlete who excel in competition and in the classroom while representing the values of the U’s athletics department.
