What: State of the University Address
When: Thursday, March 1, 2018, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Where: Coffman Memorial Union Theater, 300 Washington Ave. S.E., Minneapolis
At his seventh State of the University address, University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler will reflect on the past year and outline his priorities for the year ahead. The program will occur on Thursday, March 1 from 3:30- 4:30 p.m. at the Coffman Memorial Union Theater, 300 Washington Ave. S.E., Minneapolis.
This year’s address will touch on freedom of speech, the prevention of sexual misconduct, the University’s commitment to providing resources and support to members of the campus community affected by immigration policy changes, the University’s System-wide Strategic Plan and more.
The address will conclude with a moderated question-and-answer period. Students, faculty, staff and the public are encouraged to submit a question for President Kaler now through the end of his address on March 1. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. on the day of the event, President Kaler will also accept questions on Twitter (#UMNsotu) and from those in attendance in Coffman Theater.
