What: Ready Campus disaster prepare fair, part of FEMA’s National Preparedness Month

As part of FEMA’s National Preparedness Month, a Ready Campus fair will take place at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016.
The disaster prepare fair will run from 9 a.m. - Noon on the Gateway Plaza, adjacent to the McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak St. S.E., Minneapolis.
Several University public safety units will join Minneapolis Police and Fire among others to teach students disaster readiness. The event is expected to include emergency vehicles, informational brochures, disaster kit supplies and checklists, and more.
September is recognized as National Preparedness Month, and Americans are encouraged to educate and prepare themselves for all types of emergencies where they live, work, and visit.
The Ready Campus event is hosted by the U of M’s Department of Emergency Management and sponsored by TCF Bank.
