In the coming weeks, the University of Minnesota will celebrate commencement across its five campuses, recognizing more than 14,000 students for their academic accomplishments. These ceremonies mark a significant milestone as graduates prepare to apply their knowledge, skills and experiences in communities across Minnesota and around the world.

“Our graduates leave the University of Minnesota at a moment when the world needs their curiosity, resiliency and commitment more than ever,” said University President Rebecca Cunningham. “They have been shaped by an education that values rigorous academics, hands‑on experiences and meaningful engagement beyond the classroom. As problem solvers and active citizens, they are prepared to contribute to the world around them, and we are proud of this University’s unwavering commitment to be accessible and affordable as part of our land‑grant mission. We congratulate the Class of 2026 and look forward to the extraordinary impact they will make.”
