The University of Minnesota Twin Cities celebrates 105th Homecoming
Since 1914, Homecoming brings past, current and future Gopher fans together to celebrate through a week’s worth of events and activities. Some of the activities include:
Monday, September 30
Party on the Plaza: 6 p.m., Coffman Memorial Union, Front Plaza. Kick-off Homecoming Week with the ultimate pep fest. Enjoy free food*, prizes, and tailgate activities, as well as performances from the U of M Twin Cities Marching Band, Spirit Squad, Goldy and many more.
Thursday, October 3
Gopher Grill Out: 11 a.m., St. Paul Mall. Join in on the newest and tastiest Homecoming tradition! Swing by the Saint Paul Mall for free food*, yard games and more.
Friday, October 4
Homecoming Parade: 6:30 p.m., University Avenue. Watch students and community members in the parade between 12th Avenue Southeast and Walnut Street Southeast.
Homecoming Concert: 7:30 p.m., Coffman Memorial Union, Front Plaza. The 2019 Homecoming Concert features performances Saba and Phoebe Ryan.
Saturday, October 5
Ski-U-Mania: 11:30 a.m., McNamara Alumni Center. Join alumni, fans and students before the Homecoming game for a party featuring Goldy, the Spirit Squad, the crowning of the Homecoming royals and more.
Homecoming Football Game: 2:30 p.m., TCF Bank Stadium. Cheer on the Gophers as they gear up to defeat Illinois.
