A bicycle friendly University video transcript

The Twin Cities campus has more than 6 miles of dedicated bike lanes.

With 9,000 bike racks and nearly 400 secure bike lockers.

And the ZAP Bike Program allows bicyclists to earn rewards for biking!

UMN has been recognized as a Platinum Level Bike Friendly University.

Biking on campus is a breeze, plus there is so much to see!

But because transportation is a significant source of greenhouse gas emissions for the University, a new Campus Climate Action Plan will expand bike pathways, facilities, and other transit options with a goal of reducing emissions from commuting by 40% by 2033
