Roli Dwivedi

MINNEAPOLIS/ST.PAUL (4/11/18) — Dr. Roli Dwivedi, medical director of the University of Minnesota Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC) and an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, will become CUHCC’s Chief Clinical Officer in May 2018. Dr. Christopher Reif currently serves as the CUHCC Chief Clinical Officer.

“I am grateful for this opportunity and want to thank my mentor and colleague Dr. Reif for his years of wisdom,” said Dwivedi. “I am excited to expand my role and ready for the challenges on the road ahead. I share CUHCC’s mission to transform care and education to advance health equity in every way.”

Dwivedi has served as CUHCC's medical director since 2011 and has been practicing medicine at the clinic since 2009. She has mentored hundreds of residents and students from the University of Minnesota's Medical School during her tenure.

Dwivedi leads innovation at CUHCC, including through the development an opioid use disorder treatment program and training staff and learners in the delivery of inclusive care to diverse patients. Dwivedi has been instrumental in expanding and structuring CUHCC’s educational programs and will continue to further CUHCC’s vision to be a premier education site and leader.

“I am honored to transition this important role to Dr. Dwivedi,” said Reif. “She is a great physician, educator and leader in the new models of health care. I look forward to working alongside her as CUHCC moves forward as a leader in health care reform and education.”

Reif has led CUHCC's clinical and educational services for nearly 13 years—training staff, students and residents in the clinic and in the classroom as an assistant professor in the Medical School’s Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.

Reif will serve as senior clinical consultant and maintain an ongoing clinical practice at CUHCC, as well as his position as an assistant professor in the Medical School.
