Betsy Hirsch, PharmD, RPh, is an associate professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnnesota.
Hirsch’s research program focuses on the detection and treatment of multidrug-resistant (MDR) Gram-negative infections. The overall goal of the program is the translation of our laboratory findings to improve the use of antimicrobials for patients with resistant bacterial infections.
Expertise from the laboratory can be applied on a continuum, from the pre-clinical antimicrobial development phases to post-marketing evaluation of patient outcomes after clinical treatment.
