Heather Peters

Introduction

Heather J. Peters, Ph.D., LP, is a professor of psychology and division chair, Social Sciences, at the University of Minnesota Morris.

The ultimate goal of Peters’s research program is to assist in the development of culturally sensitive interventions and programs that will serve to increase the multicultural competence of groups of individuals within society and improve the health and wellbeing of people from marginalized cultural groups. 

Peters has published numerous chapters and articles on various topics related to culture.
