Introduction
Jian-Ping Wang, Ph.D., is a Distinguished McKnight University Professor and Robert F. Hartmann Endowed Chair in Electrical Engineering in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
Wang is the principal investigator at the Nano Magnetism and Quantum Spintronics Lab, which works in the research area of nanomagnetism and quantum spintronics with a focus on searching, investigating and fabricating novel nanomagnetic materials and quantum spintronic devices for future information technologies (spintronic computing and storage) and emerging nano biomedical technologies (personalized magnetic medical devices and magnetic hyperthermia for drug delivery and therapy).
Wang also directs the Center for Spintronic Materials for Advanced InfoRmation Technologies (SMART Center) and Center for Spintronic Materials, Novel Interfaces and Architectures.
