Introduction
Joshua Sloan, DO, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School and a gastroenterologist.
Dr. Sloan serves as Director of Endoscopy and Director of the Esophageal Disorders Program. His clinical interests broadly include esophageal motility disorders, high resolution esophageal manometry, functional lumen imaging probe, wireless and catheter-based pH studies, eosinophilic esophagitis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
Dr. Sloan's research aims are to better understand and characterize esophageal motility disorders, eosinophilic esophagitis, and rare conditions affecting the esophagus.
