Introduction
Sarah Westberg, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, is co-associate dean for clinical affairs and professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Minnesota.
Westberg’s teaching areas include endocrinology, women's health and diabetes.
In her clinical work, Westberg provides comprehensive medication management under a collaborative practice agreement with primary care and ob/gyn providers that grants prescriptive authority for most medications for chronic conditions. The College of Pharmacy has a strong presence in the interprofessional care team, collaborating with physicians (including attendings and residents), nurse practitioners, nurses and other clinic staff to optimize medication use for women.
