Introduction
Susan Kline, MD, MPH, is a professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She also is the hospital epidemiologist for the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
Kline currently is co-director of the general infectious disease service and the physician director of antimicrobial management for the infectious disease and international medicine division. She also is co-director of the HIV Family Clinic in the Delaware Street Clinic.
Kline’s research interests include the epidemiology of healthcare-associated infections and prevention of these infections.
Kline’s clinical interests include general infectious diseases, TB, tropical infectious diseases and HIV/AIDs, including prevention of perinatal transmission of HIV.
