Introduction
Tim Beebe, Ph.D., is the James A. Hamilton Professor of Healthcare Management in the Division of Health Policy and Management, University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
Beebe’s primary expertise is in the field of survey methodology, where he has a 35-year track record of testing new data collection methods in general population, physician, and hard-to-reach samples. His other research interests focus on patient-reported outcomes measurement, developing and testing health measures, health care policy, health care access for vulnerable populations, and healthcare delivery/learning health systems research.
Prior to joining the School of Public Health, Beebe was the chair of the Division of Health Care Policy & Research and director of the Survey Research Center within the Department of Health Sciences Research at Mayo Clinic as well as the deputy director of research for the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery.
