Focusing on the issues
After winning the Food Network’s “Food Court Wars” in 2013 at Pimento Jamaican Kitchen’s Burnsville Center location, Tomme Beevas opened a second location: Pimento Jamaican Kitchen on Eat Street in South Minneapolis.
Following the murder of George Floyd in 2020, Beevas launched Pimento Relief Services with the goal of creating a sustainable, long-term model for community support that moves beyond emergency relief and into community prosperity.
